After two years of planning and preparation, The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and City of Fountain are proud to announce the consolidation of the Fountain Communication Center with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.  The transition of emergency call taking and dispatching services will become effective on Monday, August 8, 2016.

We believe this consolidation will not only meet, but exceed, the expectations of the public we serve, by enhancing the response of professional fire and police services to our citizens and community.

There are no changes in how citizens report an emergency in El Paso County and the City of Fountain.  A citizen needing to report an emergency can dial or text 9-1-1.  

To report a non-emergency in unincorporated El Paso County, or the City of Fountain, please call 719-390-5555.  For any other requests related to the City of Fountain Police Department, please call 719-382-8555.
