On Friday, July 31, 2015, a joint operation was executed for the apprehension of Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) #55, Most Wanted Sex Offender identified as Toby Mohr, DOB: 08-15-75. This joint operation included the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division.

Mr. Mohr had three No Bond Felony Warrants out of El Paso County. The warrants were issued in 2012, and he has been avoiding capture since. A tip led to the arrest of Mr. Mohr in Douglas County. When the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office attempted to arrest him he barricaded himself in a trailer briefly.

He was taken into custody at 2157 hours and Detectives from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office booked him in to the Criminal Justice Center on three charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
