The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) is currently undergoing an assessment through The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). CALEA is considered “The Gold Standard in Public Safety.”
As part of this accreditation assessment, CALEA has created an EPSO-specific public access portal for the purpose of receiving comments and feedback from El Paso County citizens regarding the EPSO’s compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in its service to El Paso County, and its delivery of public safety services. These comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns. The intent of this portal in context of the overall accreditation process is to provide the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office with information straight from the public to support continuous improvement as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
