El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal issued the following statement in honor of Thanksgiving: 

"As you come together at Thanksgiving tables with cherished friends and family, let's remember and appreciate the dedication of those in uniform, our law enforcement personnel, healthcare workers, and the first responders who tirelessly serve to safeguard our community.

My family and I are immensely grateful for the supportive community surrounding us and our incredible El Paso County Sheriff's Office family. 

With humble gratitude, let us celebrate the bountiful gifts we have received as a nation and pray for those around us who are facing hardships. 

May your home be filled with joy, faith, and laughter.
