On July 3, 2016, at approximately 2:15 PM, the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an ATV accident which had occurred off-road near the intersection of Mesa Ridge Parkway and Autumn Glen Avenue, in Colorado Springs. 

Medical personnel responded and began life-saving efforts, which were unsuccessful. 

The ATV rider has been identified as Miguel Diaz, DOB: 8/15/89.  The cause and manner of death will be released at a later date pending toxicology results.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Diaz family during this most difficult time.
