Sheriff Bill Elder is pleased to announce the graduation of 29 citizens from the Sheriff’s Office Fall Citizens’ Academy Class 2018-2. The citizens completed a seven-week academy that offered participants a unique insight into the various functions of the Sheriff’s Office. Topics included criminal investigations, officer safety, jail operations and emergency services.
The Sheriff’s Office is planning a 2019 Springs Citizens’ Academy in the early part of next year. An announcement will be made via media release and Sheriff’s Office Facebook and Twitter social media platforms.
