The Sheriff’s Office made arrests in a highly sophisticated operation involving forgery and identity theft. The suspect was making counterfeit bills and stealing identities using high quality bills with holographic markings that passed the marker test.
A Search Warrant was executed and we recovered $12,500 in counterfeit bills, 1.5 grams of heroin, 12 different ID cards, and a sawed off shot gun, in addition to a 13 year old runaway. An adult female was arrested on charges related to this case and a male was arrested on an outstanding warrant unrelated to this case.
Lance Williams, DOB: 07/18/85, has been booked into the Criminal Justice Center Jail on the charge of Forgery
Michelle Liali, DOB: 04/16/82, has been booked into the Criminal Justice Center Jail on the charges of Identity Theft, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Possession of Identity Theft Tools and Criminal Possession of Identity Documents - Multiple Victims.
Robert Gould, DOB: 08/31/68, was booked into the Criminal Justice Center Jail on the charges of Criminal Possession of a Financial Device, Theft, Forgery (125 counts), Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of Tools for Forgery Device and Criminal Possession of Identity Documents - Multiple Victims.
