On Friday, August 25, 2017, at approximately 3:52 AM, the Sheriff's Office responded to the 4400 block of Bramble Drive in reference to an accidental shooting.  Deputies responded and learned a three year old female had been shot in the foot.   The child was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and is currently in stable condition. 

The investigation revealed two of the parties in the home were extremely intoxicated and where handling a firearm when it accidentally discharged.

Based on interviews from all involved, Abraham Gutierrez, DOB 9/12/90, and Jose Gutierrez, DOB 10/9/89, were booked into the Criminal Justice Center Jail.  Both have been charged with Felony Child Abuse, Second Degree Assault, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm and Prohibited Use of a Weapon.
