On July 24, 2021, at approximately 6:49 AM, our Communications Center dispatched deputies to the Stratmoor Valley Park and Trailhead, on a report of a body found.

Upon arriving on scene, deputies discovered a deceased adult male.

The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the Coroner's Office and the next of kin has been notified.  

Our Major Crimes Unit has assumed responsibility over the investigation.

Currently, there is no known threat to the community. We are in the early stages of this active investigation; additional information will be provided as the investigation allows.
