On July 31, 2019 at approximately 4:28 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 3900 block of Shining Star Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a deceased male. Detectives were notified and responded to interview witnesses and process the scene. 
 
Daniel Gray, DOB: 06/12/79 was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail on the charge of 2nd Degree Murder. 
 
The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the Coroner's Office and the next of kin has been notified.
 
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, which is ongoing at this time.  We do not believe there is any threat to the community.
