On February 2, 2021, at approximately 1:28 PM, our Communications Center dispatched deputies to the Park and Ride located in the 1900 block of Woodmoor Drive, on a Disturbance call. 

The reporting party was a witness to a physical altercation involving 3 different people. 

Officers from the Monument Police Department and our deputies responded to the scene and found an adult victim on the ground. They employed lifesaving efforts until medical personnel responded to the scene. 

The victim was transported to the nearest hospital and is in critical condition.  

This case is being investigated by our Major Crimes detectives and information will be released as the investigation allows. 

All parties in this case are accounted for and there is no known threat to the community.
