At approximately 10:55 PM, on Monday, September 14, 2015, the Sheriff's Office received a call from a victim in the Monument area stating someone had broken into their vehicle. The suspects fled in a dark colored vehicle. At approximately 11:10 PM, the suspects entered a detached garage in the Black Forest area, but nothing was believed stolen.
At approximately 11:20 PM, suspects broke into another vehicle in the Black Forest area where a firearm was stolen. At the same time the victim discovered a crashed vehicle matching the description of the suspects vehicle from the reported Monument criminal activity. At approximately 11:30 PM, suspects stole an unlocked vehicle in the Black Forest area.
At approximately 12:03 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2015, the Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle crashing into a fence and vehicle of a residence in the Cimarron Hills area. Witnesses saw what they believed to be one female and three males leaving the scene.
It was discovered the suspect vehicle, which crashed in Black Forest, was stolen (CSPD case). The vehicle which crashed into the fence in Cimarron Hills was determined to be the stolen vehicle out of Black Forest. The stolen firearm from Black Forest was then located near this vehicle.
Photos of the two female suspects are attached to this Media Release. They are described as white females 5'01' to 5'10', with slender build, wearing hooded sweatshirts, and thought to be between the ages of 20 and 40. There are male suspects as well, although no photos are available at this time.
