August 2021, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) began an investigation on a Sexual Assault case. The suspect in this case has been identified as, 31-year-old, Roger Brandon Abeyta. 

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Roger Brandon Abeyta on various sexual offenses.

Our detectives believe Abeyta utilized social media platforms to lure juveniles.

We are actively seeking additional information involving criminal information, including potential unreported incidences involving the suspect.
