On February 19, 2022, just before 9:30 AM, a woman reported to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Dispatch she was robbed of her purse and assaulted at the Loaf 'N' Jug convenience store located at 6695 Galley Road.  This address is in the Cimarron Hills area of unincorporated El Paso County.

Information provided by the victim and a review of surveillance video at the store led to deputies identifying the suspect in this crime as Brendan Mangum, DOB: 09-05-1996.  He is a white male standing 6'2" tall and weighing 180 pounds with gauged ears.  As depicted in this surveillance video, he was wearing a black ball cap with red lettering and a red brim, a red oversized ECKO branded t-shirt, and a long, thick chain and pendant hanging from his neck.  Brendan fled the scene of the crime in a black Volkswagen Passat sedan.  Still images of this video surveillance depicting Brendan are attached to this media release.

Based on this information and further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued charging Brendan with the Felony crimes of Robbery and Identity Theft.  Additionally, he was charged with Misdemeanor crimes of 3rd Degree Assault, Criminal Mischief, and a Petty Offense of Theft.
