On October 18, 2019, at approximately 12:46 pm, EPSO Dispatch received a call for service reference someone siphoning gas from a truck in the parking lot of the Safeway store at McLaughlin Road in Falcon.  The reporting party was able to identify the suspects. These individuals were known to law enforcement, as we were looking for them earlier in the day. Information had been received that they were suspects in other violent criminal activity throughout El Paso County.  

At approximately 1:03 pm, dispatch confirmed the vehicle was stolen and a pursuit was initiated on Meridian Road, near the Safeway. The pursuit ended at the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Academy Boulevard.

As a result of our ongoing investigation, the male suspect, Caleb Miles (12/18/87) is now facing additional charges to include:

Aggravated Robbery (F3),
Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft (F5),
False Imprisonment (M2 - DV),
Reckless Driving (TM1)(2counts),
Domestic Violence
