At approximately 3:00 PM, September 25th, 2017, the Woodland Park Police Department stopped a red Chevrolet Prizm bearing expired Indiana license plates.  This vehicle was identified in several tips by the public regarding menacing complaints in the Mount Herman area, as well as the Town of Monument.  
 
The male driver, identified as Daniel Nations, DOB: 10/8/85, was arrested by the Woodland Park Police Department and booked into the Teller County Jail on an unrelated weapons charge.
 
Nations' booking photo is being temporarily withheld from public release so as not to compromise ongoing investigations by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
