On April 22, 2016, at approximately 9:15 AM, deputies were following up on a missing persons report, which led them to the Public Storage Facility in the 4400 block of E. Platte Avenue. When deputies arrived on scene, they made entry into a storage unit where a deceased individual was found.
Detectives arrived on scene and through the course of their investigation, identified a person of interest, James T. Woo, DOB: 7/5/77, who is 5'8" tall, approximately 120lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.
After processing the scene, the suspicious death has been upgraded to homicide. The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the Coroner's Office and the next of kin has been notified.
The was tracked to the Seattle Airport where he was bound for and International flight to Hong Kong. With the assistance of Homeland Security, James T. Woo was taken into custody and will be booked into jail on a First Degree Murder charge.
