Three Juveniles Arrested For Attempted First Degree Burglary

On Monday, April 1, 2019, at approximately 4:21 AM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male juvenile, wearing a black bandana around his face and a gun in his hand, attempt to break into a residence in the 2000 Block of Rocklin Dr.  The male checked to see if the door was locked, heard the dog barking, and then left on foot with two other individuals who were waiting by the street.  This incident was captured on the home’s security system.

Deputies arrived on scene and canvassed the area.  At approximately 7:30 AM, the Sheriff’s Office received another call reference three juveniles who tried to break into homes in the area of Constitution and Piros.  This incident was also captured on surveillance video.

Sheriff's Office detectives working with detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Department identified the suspects and all three of them have been arrested on Attempted 1st Degree Burglary.  Since the suspects are juveniles, no additional information will be released.
