On March 12, 2017, at approximately 8:45 AM, the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a call regarding a possible homicide.  The reporting party stated he located two deceased bodies on the side of Old Pueblo Road, approximately three quarter miles south of Hanover Road, while driving from his residence in Fountain.

Deputies arrived on scene and confirmed that a male and female were lying on the shoulder of the road deceased.

The Sheriff's Office has confirmed the bodies found on Old Pueblo Road have been preliminarily identified as a teenage juvenile male and a teenage juvenile female.  The identities of the victims are being withheld pending positive identification and notification of the next of kin.

The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate this as a homicide and we are asking the community to be vigilant.  If anyone sees anything out of the ordinary for their area, please call the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at 719-390-5555.
