On May 25, 2020, at approximately 11:50 AM, our Communications Center dispatched deputies to Watson Boulevard for a Structure Fire.

When deputies entered the residence, they found a deceased male.  The male has been identified as Eric O'Brien, age 34. Our sympathies go out to the friends and family of Mr. O'Brien.

The Security Fire Department reached out to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division for assistance with this investigation.

The cause and manner of death will be released by the Coroner's Office once they have enough information to make a determination.

This is an active investigation all updates will be released as the investigation allows.
