Yes, there is a kiosk in the visitation area. The security technicians are not allowed to provide you with any information regarding the inmate’s account balance.

What do I do when I arrive for my visit?
You will check in with the security technician and provide your identification. Your scheduled visit will be confirmed and you will be directed to a visitation booth. Please go to the assigned booth and have a seat. When your visit starts, you will pick up the handset to communicate with the inmate you are visiting.
Can I visit more than once?
No. In order to accommodate all visitors, you will not be allowed to visit the same inmate more than once per day. You can however, schedule to visit up to two different inmates on the same day, if they are members of your immediate family and if they have the same visitation day.
In December of 1995, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office was the first Colorado Sheriff’s Office to implement an anti-fraud program designed to identify inmates to federal, state, and local public assistance agencies with the intent to cease illegal benefit payments to incarcerated persons. Individuals who are incarcerated are not entitled to receive benefits from the Social Security Administration, Colorado Division of Employment and Training, and Department of Social Services; these benefits are in the form of SSI, disability, unemployment, food stamps, and AFDC payments.
It is the inmate’s responsibility to inform visitors of trusty schedules to avoid visiting complications. The Video Visitation staff does not have access to inmate trusty and Gateway schedules.
Any visit that is not for personal reasons. The visit is conducted by a recognized professional that has advanced training and education in their field of expertise. The visit is connected to the inmate’s case (legal, evaluations, investigations) or the inmate’s incarceration (internal jail programs, volunteers.) What is the Special Response Team? The Special Response Team (S.R.T.) is a tactical team composed of sworn personnel who have been highly recommended by their chain of command, have completed a rigorous physical agility course, oral assessment board, and survived a grueling 50-hour S.R.T. Basic Academy. Team members are currently assigned to sections within the Detentions Bureau. The S.R.T is responsible for providing an immediate, calculated, tactical response anywhere within the Detentions Bureau upon activation. The S.R.T. will be used to quell inmate disturbances and conduct other special operations within the Detention Bureau, as directed by the Bureau Chief.
