On Monday, March 7, 2022, around 9:30 a.m., officers of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) began an investigation into the whereabouts of a suspect wanted for attempted homicide out of Ripley, Mississippi.

On February 22, 2022, just after 2:30 PM, a suspect stole a package from the porch of a home located in the 4000 block of Ruby Drive which is located in an unincorporated area of El Paso County adjacent to Austin Bluffs Parkway and Old Farm Drive.
