On October 28, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Communications Center received a report of a man firing rounds from a handgun into an occupied vehicle in a parking lot located in the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue.
On Monday, November 1, 2021, just before 1:00 AM, an EPSO sergeant on patrol was investigating a suspicious vehicle parked in a construction area north of Constitution Avenue and Shawnee Drive in the Cimarron Hills area of unincorporated El Paso County.

On January 28, 2021, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Financial Crimes Unit began an investigation into allegations of a scheme. The allegations involved a suspect deceiving multiple victims of promised services which were never provided.

The body of a deceased adult female was located on October 9, 2021, off Highway 83 and North Pinery Parkway, in Douglas County. The woman has preliminarily been identified by our detectives as a woman from an El Paso County Case.
