On September 15, 2022, around 4:22 p.m., the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call from a citizen reporting a shooting outside of a residence in the 9900 block of Calhan Highway.

On August 15, 2022, at approximately 6:48 p.m., deputies responded to a residence within the 15000 block of Pole Pine Point, Black Forest, regarding a disturbance. The residence is within a large gated community called the Black Forest Reserve, an unincorporated community of El Paso County.

On August 7, 2022, at approximately 5:07 PM, a 911 call was transferred from Fort Carson to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office (EPSO) Communications Center. The caller reported a shooting in the 500 Block of Ponderosa Drive.
