On May 6, 2021, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office deputies received information of an alleged stalking incident.
The victim was able to name the suspect. The investigation involved allegations of Felony Stalking on a female victim by Daniel McShan (DOB:05/06/1982).

On April 21, 2022, at approximately 4:57 p.m., the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications center received information from a caller who reported finding a deceased male lying on the side of the road in the 20000 block of Longhorn Point.
