El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal’s 2025 Holiday Statement

El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal issued the following statement in observance of Christmas and the New Year:

“On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, I wish the citizens of the Pikes Peak region a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“It remains an honor to serve as the 29th Sheriff of El Paso County and lead over 1,000 exceptional first responders, professional staff, and volunteers who continue working around the clock to protect our community throughout the holiday season. Whether caring for incarcerated citizens at the El Paso County Jail, investigating crime, training future members of our profession, answering emergency calls at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center, or patrolling more than 2100 square miles of El Paso County, our commitment to public safety never pauses. We are proud to serve this community every day of the year.

“We appreciate the ongoing support we receive from our residents and remain steadfast in our mission to provide quality service, strengthen community trust, and enhance safety for every person who calls El Paso County home.
