Digital Accessibilty

General Information

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is deeply committed to creating an accessible and inclusive online experience for all visitors. Our website is designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring it accommodates the unique challenges individuals with disabilities may encounter. We continuously work to meet web accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines, to remove any barriers and provide an equitable experience for everyone.

During our design process, we partnered with members of The Independence Center to review our website, ensuring it meets the needs of individuals with disabilities.

Through their evaluation, they found the navigation to be intuitive, making it easier for users to find information and resources.  The reviewers highlighted how well the website supported navigation for those facing unique challenges.

This collaborative effort reinforced our commitment to creating an inclusive online environment for all visitors.
