On August 24, 2020, at approximately 11:15 PM, one of our lieutenants attempted a traffic stop on Security Boulevard at Norman Drive. The suspect vehicle, an older model maroon Toyota Corolla, failed to stop.
The Sheriff's Office has received intelligence of another phone scam. The caller threatens the individual they have an active warrant and must obtain a money order and meet at a specific location to pay to clear up the warrant.

The El Paso County Jail, located at 2739 East Las Vegas Street, main lobby will be closed for remodeling beginning on August 19, 2020. This remodeling project is scheduled for completion on or about December 12, 2020.

Sheriff's Office Arrests Two in Robbery Case
