If you’ve ever dreamed of making a difference in your community, now’s your chance. Our Reserve Deputy Program gives you the opportunity to serve and protect on your schedule.
As a reserve deputy, you’ll help expand the reach and impact of the Sheriff’s Office, providing critical support across the county. Reserves are fully sworn law enforcement officers who work side by side with our team in every division, including patrol, events, investigations, and detention.
You’ll wear the badge, uphold the law, and maintain the same standards and training as our full-time deputies.
Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for individuals who are already committed to the profession:
✔ You’ve completed a full police academy
✔ You are currently POST certified—or previously certified and have completed a refresher academy
✔ You hold Colorado P.O.S.T. certification
