On June 19, 2026, the El Paso County Regional Communications Center received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked at the Loaf N’ Jug located at 6695 Galley Road in the Cimarron Hills area of unincorporated El Paso County.
The reporting party stated there were two individuals inside the vehicle who appeared to be impaired, and the vehicle had been there for approximately one hour.
When deputies arrived on scene, they noticed the vehicle was running. An adult male and female were inside and appeared to be unconscious.
The occupants were contacted and identified as 38-year-old Rudy Fuentes and 62-year-old Angela Vigil.
Fuentes, the passenger, had an active warrant. He was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. During a search of his person, deputies located drug paraphernalia.
Vigil, the driver, was also removed from the vehicle. During a search of her person, deputies located fentanyl.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of approximately 212 fentanyl pills, $2,300 in cash, and small Ziploc-style baggies.
Fuentes and Vigil were transported to the El Paso County Jail.
Fuentes is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on a personal recognizance bond, as set by Colorado law.
Vigil is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance; Unlawful Distribution, Manufacture, Dispensing, or Sale of a Controlled Substance; Driving Under the Influence; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on a $10,000 bond, as set by Colorado law.
