Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man on Seven Felony Charges Involving Child Sexual Assault

On March 17, 2026, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center received a report of a sexual assault on a child, occurring in the 12000 block of Ramah Highway in unincorporated El Paso County.

Patrol Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded and initiated an investigation. Due to the case’s nature and complexity, the investigation was transferred to the Investigations Division.

During their investigation, detectives learned the alleged sexual assaults spanned approximately seven years. Detectives gathered evidence, conducted interviews, and established probable cause for arrest.

On June 10, 2026, deputies executed a search warrant related to the investigation and arrested 40-year-old Zachery Alan Bradshaw on seven felony charges involving sexual offenses against a child.

Bradshaw was booked into the El Paso County Jail. He was released on a $75,000 bond, which is the standard bond amount established by the State of Colorado for the associated charges.

“El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies worked tirelessly throughout this lengthy and complex investigation to ensure these serious allegations were thoroughly investigated and justice could be pursued for the victim,” said El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal. “People who prey on children will be held accountable by my Office. Protecting children and aggressively investigating crimes against them remains one of our highest priorities.”
