Deputies Arrest Fugitive Following Domestic Violence Incident on Cold Harbor View

On September 23, 2026, at approximately 7:23 PM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center received a call reporting a restraining order violation occurring and the possible need for medical assistance.

Patrol deputies responded to the 4600 block of Cold Harbor View located in the Security-Widefield area of unincorporated El Paso County.

Upon arrival, deputies learned there was an adult female with non-life-threatening injuries inside, along with the suspect, 38-year-old Juvario Holt.

Holt did not comply with commands to exit the home. After entering, deputies took Holt into custody without incident.

Holt was booked into the El Paso County Jail on numerous charges including:

∙Fugitive from Justice

∙Failure to Register-Sex Offender

∙Violation of a Restraining Order

∙Driving Under the Influence (Failure to Comply)

∙Third Degree Assault

∙ Harassment

Holt is currently being held without bond and a $27,000 bond, as determined by statutory guidelines.

“Domestic violence incidents often escalate rapidly placing significant risk to victims, responding law enforcement officers, and the public,” said El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal. “My deputies were able to respond and make an arrest to make our community safer.”
