Sheriff Roybal Releases ICE Custody Transfer List, Continues Transparency with Community

Today, El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal released information regarding individuals who have been transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since January 2025, from the El Paso County Jail.

“In continuing transparency with our community, I am providing a list of names and criminal charges related to the safe and secure transfer of custody to our federal partners at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” said El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal. “This list will demonstrate compliance with Colorado law, and my commitment and efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the community I serve.”

In addition to those transferred pursuant to ICE detainers, five “detained” individuals with criminal charges were released from the El Paso County Jail before ICE authorities could take custody, as required by state law (HB 19-1124; 16-4-102 C.R.S.).
