Two Arrested on Felony Warrants at Travelodge Hotel

On October 13, 2025, shortly after midnight, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies located a vehicle near the Travelodge Hotel on Space Village Avenue in unincorporated El Paso County.

The vehicle had been involved in a vehicular eluding incident earlier in the day.

Deputies determined the vehicle was associated with 42-year-old Patrick Duffy, who had multiple active felony warrants for his arrest. Deputies contacted Duffy at the door of his hotel room, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Inside the hotel room, deputies encountered a female who initially provided a false name. She was later identified as 29-year-old Amber Adams, who also had active arrest warrants. Adams attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. During the arrest, she kicked at deputies and struck a deputy in the face with her elbow before being taken into custody.

Duffy and Adams were both transported and booked into the El Paso County Jail.

In addition to her warrants, Amber Adams was charged with:

  • Second Degree Assault on a Peace Officer
  • False Reporting
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Obstructing Government Operations

El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal stated, “This incident is another example of our deputies’ professionalism and commitment to safely apprehending dangerous individuals. Assaulting my deputies will never be tolerated. Their actions prevented further harm and ensured these wanted fugitives were taken off the streets.”

Amber Adams is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.

Patrick Duffy is currently being held with no bond.
