Victim Identified in Crawford Avenue Homicide

On March 24, 2025, at approximately 5:46 a.m., an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputy was patrolling Crawford Avenue in unincorporated El Paso County when they came upon a vehicle stopped in the roadway near the intersection of Crawford Avenue and Withington Drive.

As the deputy approached the vehicle, they observed an unresponsive adult male in the passenger seat. Responding deputies immediately initiated lifesaving measures, which were assumed by members of the Security Fire Department upon their arrival on the scene.

Unfortunately, those efforts were unsuccessful.

The victim has been positively identified by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office as 24-year-old Miguel Ramirez Quiroz.

Miguel Angel Garcia-Hernandez was arrested and charged in connection with this case.
