Victim Identified in Homicide on Loomis Avenue in Stratmoor Hills Area

On October 31, 2025, at approximately 2:54 PM, a call came into the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Regional Communications Center with a request for medical response to a residence in the 4000 block of Loomis Avenue in unincorporated El Paso County.

When medical personnel from the Stratmoor Hills Fire Department arrived, they believed the scene to be suspicious and located a deceased adult female; they immediately requested a response from law enforcement.

Deputies arrived on scene, located a deceased adult female inside the residence, and began an investigation.

Today, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office positively identified the deceased individual as a 38-year-old Yetzabel Quinones. The Coroner’s Office will determine and release the manner and cause of death when appropriate.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office extends our condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Quinones.

This remains an active investigation.
