El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal’s 2024 Holiday Statement

El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal issued the following statement in observance of Christmas and the New Year:

“On behalf of the hardworking men and women at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, I wish the citizens of the Pikes Peak region a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“It is an honor to serve as the 29th Sheriff of El Paso County and lead a team of nearly 900 of the nation’s best first responders and professional staff, who will work around the clock, 24/7, to ensure the safety and peace of our community during this holiday season. Whether caring for the incarcerated citizens in custody at the El Paso County Jail, investigating crimes, training the next generation of law enforcement, answering incoming emergency calls, or patrolling over 2100 square miles of El Paso County, we are proud to serve our community- every day of the year.

“We are grateful for the support and care our community gives us, and we remain committed to providing quality service and dedication to those we serve.

Special Olympics Colorado Names El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Highest Fundraising Agency of 2025
