El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Assistance in Attempted Kidnapping Case

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the community’s help in locating a person of interest in an attempted kidnapping of a child that occurred today, Friday, June 20, 2025, in eastern unincorporated El Paso County.

Deputies are searching for a white male, described as being in his 20s or 30s, with a thin build, short brownish-red hair, and light skin. He is approximately 5’7″ tall with no facial hair. The individual has tattoos on his arms, but not full sleeves. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

The person of interest was driving a newer, white, two-door pickup truck with an extended cab and a grey and red interior.

The incident took place today between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM in the area of Bradshaw Road and Highway 24, where the individual was observed driving eastbound. While a small child was briefly taken, they were thankfully able to escape and were safely reunited with their family by law enforcement.
